Mac Virus Removal Service
Mac virus removal services in NYC for only $60?
Yes, believe it or not Mac computers do indeed get malware attacks with viruses, adware and spyware e.t.c, most common virus on Macs is the “mackeeper” virus.
If your mac is running slow, freezing, acting erratic or you are seeing annoying pop ups and need to know how to check for virus on Mac, best advice is for you have a Professional take a look at your machine to be 100% sure it is a virus which is causing the issues you’re having as you can have other issues going on too at the same time. If it should not be virus related then you may need to reinstall the Mac OSX
The good news is that I enjoy helping to get infected machines back to good health by totally getting rid of all Malwares. Contact me to set up an appointment, I provide Mac Virus Removal Services for residents in South Ozone Park in Queens, NY 11420 but also have customers from Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan and Long Island.
Please note I provide a drop-off service, meaning you schedule a day and time convenient for you to drop off your unit then when I am done and satisfied that the malware is no longer there, I call you to come pick up at your earliest convenience, fully test everything for you then you leave with your unit once satisfied. I give 30 days warranty on any of my services.
Also note that properly and effectively cleaning and removing viruses does not only involve running virus software scans as most inexperienced techs seems to do. A lot of it has to do with looking for and detecting and “manually” removing items which came with your infection, sometimes this can even involve having to manually remove Registry entries too so don’t fall for someone telling you to reload your Operating System right away which is what some do when they can’t properly clean a pc infected with viruses.
I only reload your operating system as a last resort if the virus has so very deeply infected your machine there’s no way to totally clean it or if that option is what you prefer. Otherwise, normally I would try as first option to very thoroughly clean your pc so all of your info, settings and programs will remain intact and perform like new!
Mac problems such as freezing, internet problems e.t.c can also be caused by hard drive or motherboard issues so your issues need to be isolated and properly diagnosed by an experienced tech. Keep in mind that running a Mac virus scanner does not always properly diagnose all issues even if your issue should be malware related as there are different types of scanners used for different types of malwares.
The idea that you don’t have to worry about viruses or malware if you have a Mac is still surprisingly popular. Many people believe that Macs can’t get viruses, and Apple does little to dispel that notion, but is it really true? Can Macs get viruses?
“The answer is definitely, yes,” says Bogdan Botezatu, Bitdefender’s Senior E-Threat Analyst, “There have been incidents, and there will be more.”
A few years ago, Flashback malware exploited a security flaw in Java. It managed to infect 600,000 Macs, which was roughly 1 percent of the user base. There is a page about it on Apple’s website.
Because many people don’t use antivirus software on Macs, it’s difficult to get a handle on the size of the risk.
“The absence of adoption of antivirus solutions on Mac OS X is hiding the truth, because malware is not going to get reported,” Bogdan explains, “We know what’s happening in the Windows eco-system because we have this visibility and threat intelligence, but with Mac OS X there’s often no antivirus to report back to base.”
Another myth is the popular opinion that if you have a Mac virus protection software on your machine that it will give you 100% protection and you Mac will not get infected. Sadly that is definitely not the case so if you ask what is the best virus protection for mac? The answer is simply that it’s better to have one of the top antivirus softwares installed on your Mac than no protection at all.
There are quite a few malware protection softwares out there such as Kaspersky, Eset, Bitdefender e.t.c which all do a good job to give some decent protection but again, there isn’t any antivirus software which will give you total protection.
Best protection from all malwares is still to practice “safe surfing” by being careful not to visit any known potentially dangerous websites such as porn sites as one example. Also to be extremely careful from which sites you download anything, then too there’s opening emails from unknown sources. Viruses usually find their way into your computer via any or all of those three methods.
